We arrived at our destination, Harvest Moon RV Park in Adairsville, GA on schedule. We usually take I-75 through downtown Atlanta and try to avoid the “By-Pass” because that’s where the truckers are required to go and there are usually delays. If for some reason we have to go that way, Sheryl makes popcorn to make the delays seem shorter. No popcorn today and somewhat of an easy go through the Peachtree City.
Okay, we are at our destination, we are familiar with this place because we’ve been here before; the park is small with large RV sites. After getting settled, we hooked up, got the coach level, put the slides out and guess what, the circuit breaker tripped. They tested the circuits and found it was their fault, so, we regrouped and moved to another site and repeated the setting-up drill one more time. Our new site is better and we are now happy campers. Oh, the joys of camping.
Ironically, in the middle of where this dreadful battle took place we came across a family of deer, about a dozen of them. They looked undaunted and out of place surrounded by monuments of battle, a paradox.
